I am ready for the big change. I have been boring my friends to death with my touting of my love for our neighbors to the north. I was patiently awaiting a personal trainer position in Canada so I could pick up stakes and move there. It happened last week. I got a more than suitable offer. I am in the process of seeking condos for sale in Winnipeg this week. I don’t think I have been more sure and more excited about something in my entire life. I’m sure I’ll be getting a lot of visits from my friends, since I aroused so much curiosity about this place.

It was the determining factor. My wife tried relentlessly to convince me that this Burnaby condo was perfect for us. I kept puttung her off saying that we had everything we need right where we are. Then one weekend she convinced me to at least take a look at one. She had been drooling over this place on their web page for months. I told her it would never be that nice in person. Talk about eating your words. We arrived there that saturday afternoon and I was stunned that the photos didn’t do it justice. The place was magnificent. When I walked into the fitness center, I was so amazed that I went directly to the sales office and we signed up for one.

My dear wife has been on this relentless campaign to get me to at least visit this Burnaby condo she saw on a trip with her sister this winter. I am finally ready to retire this year after 35 years in the fitness business. I had very different plans than moving into a condo. I wanted to add a swimming pool and tennis court to our generous sized property and sort of develop a private resort. After reminding me that the up-keep of these amenities as well as maintaining a five bedroom house would be both expensive and definitely time consuming, we are now packing the SUV and on our way to Burnaby.
